摘要

This paper presents a method, which allows determining of the heat flux in combustion chambers of power steam boilers. The design of a thermometric insert used for measuring the heat flux has been described. The heat flux absorbed by the water-walls of the boiler has been determined on the basis of the changes of the metal temperature in the area of the fireside face and the internal surface. The temperatures measured within the inserts allowed also to determine the heat transfer coefficient on the inner surface. The temperature on the rear, external surface of the water-wall tube, which is close to the water-steam temperature, was also measured.
