Many cancer patients are treated with a combination of anticancer drugs. Here, we discuss the importance of drug scheduling and the need for studies that investigate the optimal timing of the various anticancer drugs. Positron emission tomography (PET) using radio-labeled anticancer drugs could be an important tool for those studies.
