AN OPERATOR EXTENSION OF BOHR'S INEQUALITY

We establish an operator extension of the following generalization of Bohr's inequality, due to M. P. Vasic and D. J. Keckic:
vertical bar Sigma(n)(i=1)Zi vertical bar <=(Sigma(n)(i=1)alpha((1-r))(i1/))(r-1) Sigma(n)(i=1) alpha i vertical bar z(i)vertical bar(r)
(r > 1, z(i) is an element of C, alpha(i) > 0, 1 <= i <= n).
We also present some inequalities related to our noncommutative generalization of Bohr's inequality.
