摘要
Fe3O4/Ag core-shell nanoparticles were used for the detection of Pb2+. Using the Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles with small size, the Fe3O4/Ag core-shell nanoparticles were synthesized by reducing Ag[(NH3)(2)](+) with gallic acid (GA) as a reducer and surface modifier. With the help of the coordination behavior of Pb2+ with the GA molecules bonded on the surface of the core-shell nanoparticles, it can be performed to quantitatively detect the Pb2+. The linear response range is from 5 x 10(-9) M to 1.0 x 10(-5) M. The developed method shows a good selectivity for Pb2+. The Fe3O4/Ag core-shell nanoparticles are easily to recover for their magnetism. After being treated with EDTA, the Fe3O4/Ag core-shell nanoparticles can be used again and, therefore, the testing costs can be reduced.
