摘要

This paper elaborates the applications of inertial navigation for tracking the personnel motion during a ship fire extinguishing. In order to solve the communication obstacles between fire commanders and fire detection staffs in the traditional way, it puts forward a kind of method that makes use of the inertial sensors for sport tracking of fire detection staff. It aims to strap the inertial sensor on the fire detection staffs, and to transmit fire detection staffs'motion information to command and monitoring terminal located outside the fire ground, and then to calculate the relative position of fire detection staff to the starting point (monitoring terminal location) through the navigation algorithm, including step, stride and heading determination. The fire commander can guide fire detection staffs on interphone, and assist them to detect fire to ensure their safety and to improve the safety and efficiency of fire detection work effectively, and thereby to ensure the safety of ships, thus to reduce losses caused by fire.
