A novel microwave dielectric ceramic of BaMgP2O7 with low epsilon(r)

摘要

A novel microwave dielectric ceramic of BaMgP2O7 with low dielectric constant and high quality factor was synthesized by the solid-state reaction method. Dense ceramic with 96.8% relative density was obtained when the ceramic sintered at 850 degrees C for 2 h. The BaMgP2O7 ceramic sintered at 850 degrees C for 2 h possessed good microwave dielectric properties: epsilon(r)=6.8, Qxf=40,089 GHz (at 11.7 GHz), and tau(f)= -40.6 ppm/degrees C.
