A note on R-linear GMRES for solving a class of R-linear systems

We prove that R-linear GMRES for solving a class of R-linear systems is faster than GMRES applied to the related C-linear systems in terms of matrix-vector products. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the theoretical result.
