A note on extreme norms on R-2

We denote by AN(2) the set of all absolute normalized norms on R-2. It is known that the set AN(2) and the set of all continuous convex functions psi on [0,1] with max{1 - t, t} %26lt;= psi(t) %26lt;= 1 for t is an element of [0,1] (denoted by Psi(2)) are in a one to one correspondence under the equation psi(t) = parallel to(1 - t,t)parallel to. Recently, we characterized extreme points of AN(2) by considering Psi(2). In this paper we give another proof of this result.
