Application of Raman spectroscopy to the study of hydrogen in an ion irradiated oxide-dispersion strengthened Fe-12Cr steel

摘要

For the first time, Raman spectroscopy is used to study hydrogen implanted in steels. A Fe-12 wt.% Cr-0.4 wt.%Y2O3 oxide-dispersion strengthened CODS) steel was irradiated at room temperature in triple-ion-beam conditions (24 MeV Fe8+, 1.9 He+ and 600 keV H+ ions). Using Raman spectroscopy, we successfully measure the hydrogen distribution and the vibration frequency of the H-2 molecule in the irradiated ODS steel.
