摘要

In this study, solid-state structures and noncovalent interactions of a novel proton transfer compound (pnH(2))(2)(pydcH(2))(2)(pydcH)(pydc)center dot 5H(2)O 1, and its metal complex (pnH(2))[Zr(pydc)(3)]center dot 4H(2)O 2 (pn: propane-1,3-diamine, pydcH(2): pyridine-2,6-dicar-boxylic acid), have been investigated. On the basis of crystallographic data, proton transfer compound and its complex form supramolecular assembled structures by a variety of noncovalent interactions such as ion-pairing; extensive C-H center dot center dot center dot O, O-H center dot center dot center dot O, N-H center dot center dot center dot O, N-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds; and C-H center dot center dot center dot and C-O center dot center dot center dot interactions.
