A study on semi-active vibration absorbing for ship shafting gearbox

摘要

Vibration of transmission gearbox is one of the important sources of ship vibration and noise. The natural frequency of the semi-active vibration absorber can be changed through changing excitation current. Gearbox vibration experiments were carried out respectively before and after the semi-active vibration absorber was installed. The results show that in the situation of different input speeds, the gearbox vibration can be evidently reduced by regulating the excitation current of the semi-active vibration absorber accordingly. Moreover, it has a certain following performance. The experiment has verified the rationality of semi-active vibration absorber on the gearbox vibration absorption. It is of great directive significance to the realization of ship gearbox vibration control.
