摘要

In educational institutions, the development and application of Knowledge Creation and Management (KCM) is an incipient matter. This paper reports on an experience whose aims are to create and experiment with a KCM model applicable to the educational field and to analyse the activity of knowledge managers. The methodology comprises the continuous creation of KCM networks, currently nine and more than 400 participants, whose working is analysed from the MOMO network in order to produce knowledge on research topics.
Discussion and collective reflection are considered to be the proposal's foundation. In the early stages of the KCM groups, discussion is organized around questions designed to create a unanimous language, identification of themes, diagnosis of the reality, intervention, and recording and diffusion of the knowledge acquired. Collective reflection is stimulated by the knowledge manager which, apart from technical skills, must deploy organizational and social skills.
The outcomes emphasize the proposal's validity, whilst at the same time making it possible to make progress in operational questions. More specifically, some principles are established which uphold the model (contextualization, planning, technological development, amongst others) and, likewise, some clarifications are made as regards the knowledge manager's use and the tasks it should tackle, specifically its work as facilitator and mediator in interaction processes with knowledge.
