摘要

A carbon nanotube (CNT) reinforced carbon/carbon composite fabricated using the dielectrophoresis and chemical vapor infiltration is described. CNT content is found to decrease with increasing frequency and has a strong influence on the temperature distribution along the thickness direction of the preforms. The density variation with position in the CNT-added preform at 500 Hz is the smallest (0.012 g cm (3)), while the CNT-added preforms at 50 Hz and 5 000 Hz could not be densified efficiently. The flexural strength and modulus of the composite at 500 Hz are increased by nearly 12.2 and 19.7%, respectively, compared to that of the composite at DC 30V.
