摘要

Underground mine communication is significant due to the extreme environmental conditions. All aspects of coal mining will emit large amount of dust to the tunnel. The actual dust particles are medium combined with dry dust and moisture. They will influenced on propagation characteristic of electromagnetic waves. This paper regards air in the tunnel as mixed air with uniform distribution of dust particles. Through calculating the dielectric constant of dust particles, we obtained the dielectric constant of mixed air in the tunnel. The dielectric constant of dust particles is determined by both water and dry coal powder. Different water content, dielectric constant of dust particles are not the same. Higher the moisture contents of dust particles, the greater the dielectric constant. The volume percentage of dust particles is relatively small. Through calculation and simulation we obtained conclusion from the aspect of dielectric properties that: the influence of existence of dust on dielectric constant of mixed air in tunnel can be ignored.
