Five new species of the genus Phyllocoptes Nalepa from China are described: Phyllocoptes euonymusae sp. nov. on Euonymus alatus (Thunb.) Sieb. ( Celastraceae); Phyllocoptes asperatae sp. nov. and Phyllocoptes dangchangi sp. nov. on Picea asperata Mast. ( Pinaceae); Phyllocoptes japonicae sp. nov. on Lonicera japonica Thunb. ( Caprifoliaceae) and Phyllocoptes lyciumi sp. nov. on Lycium chinense Mill. ( Solanaceae). All species described here are vagrant on the undersurface of host leaves.
