摘要
A method to grow sodium carbonate bicarbonate dehydrate ( C2H5Na3O8) nanoneedles was investigated. Sodium carbonate ( Na2CO3) and ethanol ( C2H6O) precursors mixed in an aqueous solution at 85 degrees C under normal atmospheric pressure formed sodium carbonate bicarbonate dehydrate nanoneedles, over 15 mu m long and approximately 150 nm in diameter. The nanoneedles had a monoclinic crystal structure as determined using X-ray diffraction measurements. The nanoneedles were stable in air and exhibited noticeable photoluminescence at 420-442 nm and broad luminescence at 450-700 nm.
