The mechanism of purification of an aqueous phase from droplets of Midel 7131 transformer oil with the use of heterogeneous hydrodynamic coagulation in the presence of a second organic solvent is considered. Models of heterogeneous hydrodynamic coagulation are proposed, and the simplest and most probable model variants are chosen.
