摘要

Transverse vibration vertical to middle surface of thin plate is a prevalent problem. This paper presents a vibration differential equation under accurate boundary conditions with elastic theory and vibration theory. The equation is used in identifying the vibration characteristics of the thin plate. Using analytic method, the rectangular plate taken as an example, the complete simulation calculation was performed. As a result, the relationships between vibration natural frequency and geometrical sizes are given, effects which the plate length and the semi-sinusoid number along the plate length direction have on the frequency are obtained. Moreover, effects under two boundary conditions which half-sinusoid number has on the frequency are compared.
