摘要

A model for predicting outdoor coherent noise based on the geometric diffraction theory and coherent image source method was presented. The proposed model was suitable to be used in the engineering algorithm. By using the proposed model, not only the coherent sound field formed by multiple paths diffraction when sound waves gone through a finite length barrier or multiple barrier, but also that formed by multiple reflections between interfaces of barriers, could be calculated. The proposed model was experimentally used to predict the coherent sound field around a power transformer in a substation, and the results of the proposed model were respectively compared with that predicted by using the ISO9613-2, that calculated by using the boundary element method, and the directly measured values. The comparisons showed that the proposed model was valid and could be used for predicting outdoor noise in a wide range. Furthermore, the comparisons showed that the proposed model could reflect the fluctuations of sound waves at different locations, and could give predictions closer to the measured values than the ISO9613-2 model.
