Design and Development of Cloud Manufacturing System

How to apply cloud manufacturing to industries is a difficult problem. The manufacturing industry has a massive multi-users for collaborative operations with manufacturing resources to satisfy the multiple process control, manufacturing lifecycle management and collaborative manufacturing scheduling and other resource requirements. Based on the analysis of application requirements, the new manufacturing mode, cloud manufacturing, is applied into forging industry. Afterwards, the application procedure of cloud manufacturing system is proposed. The key technologies to realize the cloud manufacturing system are discussed in detail. Finally, the manufacturing forging system is developed. The above research can provide the theoretical base to promote cloud manufacturing to be applied in forging industry and the application reference.
