摘要

Al-Fe sound-absorbing material was produced by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. The obtained materials were characterized by SEM and XRD. And the absorption coefficient was tested with standing wave pipe method. The experimental results show that the porosity and the absorption coefficient of the Al-Fe sound-absorbing material increase with the content of NaCl and anhydrous K(2)CO(3) increasing; the acoustic properties of the Al-Fe sound-absorbing material in which NaCl was taken as pore former are higher than those using K(2)CO(3) as pore former; there are no residue of Al and Fe after the reaction, because all turned into Al-Fe intermetallic compound. NaCl and anhydrous K(2)CO(3) have been fully dissolved after ultrasonic cleaning.
