摘要

An alternative and efficient protocol for the synthesis of methylated pyrrolo-tetrathiafulvalenes have been developed. The key intermediate in this new synthetic protocol is 4,6-dimethyl-N-tosyl-(1,3)-dithiolo[4,5-c]pyrrole-2-one, which can be obtained in high yield in a three-step synthetic procedure from 5-dimethyl-3,4-dithiocyanopyrrole.
