摘要

Firstly, the conception of travel time reliability is defined and the travel time reliability model is built. Then, the area traffic control evaluation model is established, which is based on the travel time reliability. Taking Wuhan ATC(area traffic control) as an example, the effect of this method is examined. The results indicate that, after ATC operating, the travel time reliability of morning and evening peak obviously enhances. The fluctuation of travel time reliability is smaller than before ATC operating, discreteness being reduced. The demonstration illustrates that the new method proposed in this paper is feasible and efficient.
