摘要

A reflectarray antenna using sub-wavelength fragmented elements is proposed. The size of the element is at the working frequency of 5.8 GHz. A full 360 degrees phase range is achieved due to the flexibility of the unit structure. To reduce the mutual coupling and further improve the performance of the reflectarray antenna, the isolation walls based on H-shaped unit cells are printed around the fragmented elements. A prototype reflectarray antenna composed of 11x11 elements has been simulated, fabricated, and is about 8.1% (from 5.53 GHz to 6.0 GHz), a high gain of 20.5 dBi, side-lobes 15.1 dB below the main lobe, and the cross-polarization level less than 18.5 dB.
