摘要
An efficient, solvent-free microwave assisted synthesis of bis-benzo [b] 1,4-diazepines by Michael addition of dichalcones with o-phenylenediamine, in the presence of basic alumina has been described. The Synthesized compounds were characterized by spectral data such as IR, H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, Mass and elemental analysis. All the compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity.
