摘要

Acoustic nonlinear parameter BIA describes the nonlinear features of the finite amplitude sound wave propagation in a medium Compared with the lines parameters (such as sound velocity, attenuation coefficient etc.), this parameter provides more information about the structure of the tissues. Therefore, the acoustic nonlinear parameter BIA may be a novel parameter for the ultrasound tissue characterization. In this paper, the nonlinear parameter BIA computed tomography in reflection mode is proposed by using a compound transducer. Theoretical analysis and experimental image of biological tissues, including porcine liver and hepatocirrhosis tissues are presented.
