摘要

A new pilot model is proposed to investigate the uncertain effects of human factors on the safety of airport approaches. Three information processing components: information perception, decision making, and action execution that are influenced by human factors are modeled and incorporated into one pilot model. By treating the human factors as stochastic variables that follow suitable probability density functions, the propagation of these uncertain factors to the safety of airport approaches can be studied using Monte Carlo simulations. The simulation results of five controlled experiments indicate that this pilot model can be used to quantitatively analyze the uncertain effects of human factors.
