摘要

The problem of the wireless sensor network coverage and connectivity to use the least sensor nodes has been one of challenging and core problems. An algorithm is proposed to carry out the optimal coverage and connectivity of the regular zone for this purpose, which includes three parts: double squares are utilized to divide the target nodes to the inner part of square zone firstly, the relation model is obtained between the target nodes and sensor nodes secondly, finally, the least number of sensor nodes is calculated to satisfy the coverage condition by using the probability inference, further, the inference process and the connectivity probability model of the outer square edge nodes are implemented simultaneously. The experiments show that the algorithm is efficient attributing to the average error is lower than 13.16 percent between the experiment and theory, so the allocation of the network resource can be reduced and the performance estimation of network coverage and connectivity can be better to utilize this method.
