The aim of this article is to point out some flaws in the mathematical programming model proposed by Tamer Eren [Human and Machine Effects in a Just-In-Time Scheduling Problem, Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing, 19(4), 294-299 (2009)]. Ignoring these flaws may cause unexpected computational results.
