摘要

With the development of electronic technology, urban electric locomotive is also developing rapidly. The traction system of electric locomotive is the key to ensure the stable operation of locomotive. This study investigates the principles of speedless sensor control and verified its application in the control of traction frequency modulation of electric locomotive. It also examine that whether speedless sensor in the traction system could keep the stable operation of electric locomotive or not. This study developed a speedless sensor for permanent magnet synchronous motor based on the composition and mathematical model of the traction system and did implementation of vector control as well as simulation analysis. The research results demonstrated that the estimated revolving speed of the traction system of the electric locomotive which was installed with speedless sensor was basically same with the actual revolving speed, suggesting a small error. The application of speedless sensor based control system in electric locomotive can ensure the stable and safe operation of electric locomotive.
