In the title molecule, C(14)H(8)N(2)O(5), the amino group is involved in the formation an intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond. In the crystal, weak intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds link the molecules into ribbons along the b axis.
