摘要

On the basis of the head injury finite element model published in an article, a modified model is built by adding a cerebrospinal fluid layer between skull and brain tissues, simulating its hydrostatic fluid chamber with surface fluid modeling method, and defining viscoelastic material characteristics for all brain tissues. Then the modified model and original base model are comparatively simulated. The results show that the modified model has better biofidelity and pressure response in vehicle crash accident simulation. Compared with the stresses in base model, the peak principal stress in the skull increases by 44% mainly due to the change in the material characteristics of brain tissue;and the peak von Mises stress in brain tissues increasing by 18% due mainly to the change in the material characteristics of cerebrospinal fluid. The experiment results in another paper verify the correctness of the study.
