Nanotubes Formed by Exfoliation of HTaWO6

摘要

A new tubular-structured nanomaterial was formed by exfoliating HTaWO6 with tetra-n-butylammonium hydroxide (TBAOH) at ambient temperature. The final product was characterized by AFM, SEM, and TEM. The model of the nanotubes can be determined that the outer dimeters of nanotubes are ranging from 30 to 60nm and the length of them are distributed around 100 to 600 nm. TEM result shows that the interlayer spacing is 1.13 nm, suggesting the presence of H3O+ ions in the interlayer space of the final product.
