摘要
A novel and convenient one-pot synthesis of polyfunctional tetrahydropyrimidine analogues through a Lewis acid catalyzed multicomponent reaction is disclosed. This domino reaction proceeds smoothly in moderate-to-good yields with formation of four C-N bonds in one step. The products are interesting nitrogen heterocycles that contain alpha- and beta-amino acid blocks.
