摘要

In this letter, we propose an all-optical parallel scheme for the exclusive-or (XOR) logic processing, in which the bright and dark pixels of an image source are adopted to represent the binary data. Two orthogonally polarized coherent light beams are overlapped using a 50/50 beam splitter, and are then checked using a polarization analyzer. The distribution of light intensity of final output image is the result of the XOR logic operation on the input pixels.
