摘要

A new method for mechanical analysis of three-dimensionally braided composite material employing incompatible multivariable FEM and homogenization theory is proposed. An incompatible displacement element and a hybrid stress element are developed to model the effective mechanical properties of three-dimensional (3-D) textile composites. Results of the hybrid stress element approach is favorable than other numerical methods widely used compared with the experimental data. Some illustrative applications are presented for a typical class of four-step braided composites.
