摘要

Austenite formulation of 42CrMo steel heated by different heating rates was investigated by DIL 805A /D high-resolution differential dilatometer. The kinetics model considering the effect of heating rates was fitted using the extended analytic kinetic model based on JMAK. Results show that fitted results of austenite reaction using the kinetics model meet well with the experimental data. Moreover, the austenitizing time and the heating rate follow the dual logarithmic linear model. Further, austenite formulation of the induction heating crankshaft 42CrMo steel with continuous changed heating rates was predicted using the kinetics model and the additivity rule, which can be the foundation of subsequent quench cooling process. The method is helpful to predict the austenite formulation of the heating process with continuous changed heating rates.
