摘要
In a float glass inspection system based on machine vision, common defects can be detected and classified correctly. However, the performance of online optical quality inspection is still unsatisfactory and the accuracy cannot fulfill the requirement of glass grading. Since the optical distortion is rather slight for optical quality inspection, the distortion should be amplified so that it can be identified easily. A moire method based on the theory of the Talbot effect is proposed, which can magnify the distortion effectively without increasing the system complexity. And a corresponding moire fringe analysis method is presented based on the character of the optical distortion. The method can be adopted to analyze the optical quality of glass ribbon in real time, which makes it possible to grade the optical quality of glass ribbon according to inspection results automatically.
