摘要

Case retrieval is a key issue in case-based design. The purpose of retrieval is to select the most suitable case for reusing. In the context of rule-based automatic case adaptation, the prerequisite to adapt a case automatically is that all the required adaptation rules can be found in the rule base. In addition, the adaptation performance is also influenced by the quality of the required adaptation rules and the workload of the adaptation. To retrieve the most suitable case for rule-based automatic case adaptation, a new case retrieval method is proposed. First, the rule maturity of each case is calculated to measure the sufficiency and quality of the required adaptation rules. Then, the adaptability of each case is calculated to measure the adaptation workload. Finally, the suitability of the cases is obtained by synthesizing the maturity and the adaptability. The case with the largest suitability is selected as the starting point of the new design. Two comparative experiments were performed, and the results show that the cases retrieved by the proposed method were more suitable for automatic adaptation.
