摘要

This study presents a simple but efficient approach to generate microwave vector-vortex beams based on the metasurface composed of quasi-periodic aperture-coupled patch elements. We demonstrate that the vector-vortex field with or without spiral phase can be achieved by changing the polarization of incident wave. Moreover, the spiral phase and/or polarization angle of produced vector-vortex beams can be manipulated by tuning the topological charge . Results obtained using the commercial software CST Microwave Studio 2012 are presented to verify our methodology.
