摘要

Being in the transitional period, China faces the inevitable trend of the combination of market economy and democratic politics which requires the Chinese government to fulfill the long-term arduous task of enhancing administrative supervision in its political work. To keep up with the trend, the advantages and drawbacks of China's administrative supervision are explored based on the comparison of the setup and effect of administrative supervision agencies in China and America. The advantages include diversified supervision subjects and delegation of power to Chinese people, while the drawbacks are low administrative efficiency and imbalanced allocation of supervision power. As a developing country, China should actively tap its potential and learn from the advanced experience by utilizing the useful administrative supervision measures of America and taking China's basic national conditions into consideration. In this approach, administrative supervision development system can be established in accordance with China's actual situation to make the setup of China's administrative supervision more scientific, reasonable, and effective.
