摘要

In the paper, the contrast experiments of grinding nanocomposite ceramics between Two Dimensional ultrasonic vibration and common grinding were carried out. The influence of ultrasonic vibration grinding on the surface quality of ZrO2ceramics was analysed, different processing and vibrating parameters that influence the surface roughness were studied. The result of testing showed that, with the same grinding depth, the ultrasonic vibration grinding surface furrow is shallow and wide, thus we can obtain a smaller surface roughness than common grinding. Besides, the grinding wheel works at high frequency vibration so that it is not easily loaded, which permits fine grit wheel to be used in ultrasonic vibration grinding. The workpiece speed influences greatly the surface roughness, which value goes up along with the workpiece speed increase. Therefore, ultrasonic vibration grinding can improve surface quality of ceramics, and avoid effectively surface cracks occurred in common grinding.
