摘要

The fundamental issue of intrabody communication system design-body channel characteristics are studied in this work. The amplitude-frequency response is chosen as the body channel characteristics and investigated by effective measurements on the human body. A signal generator and an oscilloscope are used to measure the body channel characteristics, and wideband transformers are used to eliminate grounding interference. The frequency range of body channel measurement is 100 Hz to 20 MHz which covers important low frequency bands for baseband transmission and differential measurement technique is adopted to make floating measurement. Excellent transmission was achieved in the measurement without apparent signal distortion. It can be seen from the body channel amplitude-frequency response curve that most of the frequency points measured have higher gain than -25 dB. The signal transmission is feasible because both the received signal amplitude and the transmission gain match the requirements of detection.
