摘要

As the output power of photovoltaic array changes with the change of external environment and load, the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology is needed to bring the efficiency of photovoltaic device into full play. In this paper, a new method based on the genetic algorithm and pattern search is applied on the MPPT technology of photovoltaic system. As the genetic algorithm has the advantages of flexibility, randomicity, and can not be limited by local optimization, it is used for rough searching, based on this, using pattern search to enhance aborative searching. Comparative tests show that the proposed method can track the step response quickly and accurately, at the same time get better optimization result under partially shadowing condition. Simulation and experiment results showed the effectiveness and good performance of the proposed method.
