摘要

The design of the mineral deposit development and also protecting particularly valuable deposits against the development of their surfaces for investments other than mining require an estimation of the worth and the usefulness of documented deposits for the economy as well as their classification in this context. There are studies concerning valorisation and ranking of some, mineral deposits or raw material groups in the literature on this topic. Estimation of analyzed mineral deposits was carried out using a limited number of factors, the most often geological-mining, environmental and spatial. Ranking (order) was established on the basis of expert evaluation using the point method. The point method is characterized with a large dose of subjectivity. A review of the studies concerning (lie valorisation of the lignite deposits, that have been prepared until now was carried out in this article. The analytic hierarchy process method, which conduct the estimation of mineral deposits in a more complex manner than the point method, was proposed for establishing ranking of lignite deposit. The usefulness of (his method was verified on the examples of lignite deposits. In order to establish a ranking of the lignite deposits by means of the analytic hierarchy process a multi - criteria decision model was build. Particular levels of this model include: the goal - ranking of lignite deposits; main criteria - factors describing mineral deposits, and variants eight lignite deposits. In the estimation of deposits all factors that can have an influence on the attractiveness of their development were taken into account. They are as follows: geological-mining, economical, spatial, environmental and social. Lignite deposits were estimated, which were selected on the basis of previous rankings. They arc as follows: Gubin, Rogozno, Zloczew, Trzcianka, Mosty, Torzym, Legnica Zachod and Legnica Wschod. An estimation of the lignite deposits was carried out by using a questionnaire prepared on the basis of the decision model, taking assessments coming from the previous rankings into account. The estimation obtained in this manner underwent mathematical verification with the use of Expert Choice software, the effect of which is the hierarchy of the factors as well as the ranking of lignite deposits.
