摘要
A new hybrid absorption-compression refrigerating cycle that is driven by solar energy and assisted by electricity was presented. A thermodynamic model describing the performance of the new cycle was developed. The COP, refrigerating capacity, and evaporating temperature of the system for a typical whole daytime were calculated and compared with those traditional absorption refrigerating systems. The results shown that the new cycle could produced steady refrigerating capacity and evaporating temperature with high COP during the whole period of a typical summer daytime, successfully overcame the shortcomings of the traditional absorption refrigerating cycle driven by solar energy.
