摘要

The call to reform nursing education introduced new expectations and revived long-standing questions about how nursing students learn to manage the complexities of patient care. As pressures mount to combine learning experiences from traditional clinical settings with those from simulated patient care environments, innovative studies are needed to explore the effectiveness of teaching strategies used in each area. This will require a renewed commitment to the scholarship of teaching and learning in nursing education.
