Multi-functional magnetic, ferroelectric, and fluorescent homochiral lanthanide (Ln)-camphorate compounds built on helical {Ln-O}(n) inorganic substructures

摘要

The design and preparation of homochiral metal-organic coordination polymers is presently a topic of intense focus. Herein, we present a series of isomorphous Ln(III)-camphorate compounds with the P6(5) chiral space group. The overall structural feature is the hex rod-packing architecture, where each helical {Ln-O}(n) inorganic substructure connects to six analogs via chiral D-cam spacers (D-H(2)Cam = D-camphoric acid). Moreover, the Ln-related magnetic, fluorescent and chirality-related ferroelectric merits of these compounds are explored.
