摘要
In press working, for preventing the defects of formed products and establishing the traceability of causes of defects, we have developed an intelligent press working system which can detect defects in process by incorporating sensors in dies We have enabled to detect typical defects of sheet products such as wrinkling and scrap jumping in sheet forming process Ultrasonic sensor unit was newly developed and applied to detect wrinkling Reflective properties of ultrasonic waves were investigated The reflective intensity was clearly changed by the generation of wrinkles during forming The presented method can be applied to various progressive dies for the actual production of sheet products This method enables practical and cost-effective defect detection, and is expected to prevent the oversight of defective products in actual production lines for sheet forming.
