摘要
It is experimentally shown that longitudinal autosolitons excited by the Joule heating of low-resistivity p-InSb (p a parts per thousand 10(13) cm(-3)) and p-Te (p a parts per thousand 10(14) cm(-3)) samples in a high electric field are insensitive to magnetic fields. This is due to diamagnetism induced in longitudinal autosolitons by self-pinching. Similar behavior of longitudinal autosolitons is observed in high-resistivity p-InSb (p a parts per thousand 10(12) cm(-3)) samples with diamagnetism produced in the case of theta pinching in an external longitudinal magnetic field.
